The hit Broadway musical "Grease" is being performed in Tokyo later this year, and it was announced on Friday that rising actor Toma Ikuta is playing the lead part of Danny Zuko. His supporting cast includes Sayaka Kanda as his girlfriend Sandy, former Morning Musume member Miki Fujimoto as the Pink Ladies leader Rizzo, and Musical Academy member Tomoyuki Yara as Kenickie.

The production opens at the Aoyama Theatre on October 20 and will finish up in Osaka during November.

though Grease is a kinda corny musical...haha.
but toma's DEFINITELY great at these kinda singing/dancing roles in musicals.

also, i checked back at the link and i saw a person who's not a fan of toma post this:
"not a fan of toma ikuta. i just feel he is too needy-to-be-center-of-attention and a bit metrosexual for me. plus i just don't find him good looking or attractive. sorry toma fans. altho toma can sing."

well, i guess when it comes to toma, maybe u either LOVE him or u HATE him. =/
he can bring out the extremes in a person...maybe cuz of that...
there's so MANY MANY ppl that love toma, but there must also be a lot of ppl that don't like him, ne?
