Mogura No Uta's premiere was on January 20.... ^o^

so the movie premiere was jan. 20, and the movie will be in theaters feb. 15!!! xD toma's flashy suit was very appropriate. hahaha. and he got to fire off a tshirt cannon, i think?? anyway, it looks fun. xD i'm sure there will be a ton of new toma stuff soon, to waken up the fandom. haha. mogura no uta promotional stuff!! whoo hoo!! just in time for my birthday, coming soon. yey~~~ *_*

'Virgin' Ikuta Toma promotes 'Mogura no Uta' movie

Actor Ikuta Toma (29) attended the preview screening for his upcoming movie "Mogura no Uta: Undercover Agent REIJI" (opening on February 15, directed by Miike Takashi). 

In the movie, Ikuta's character Reiji goes undercover into a yakuza organization. His character is described as blond and a virgin, so at the conference, he introduced himself, saying, "I am blond and a virgin," drawing shrieks from the female fans present at the event. He also promoted his film, "It is a movie that you can watch and feel good watching without thinking about anything else. I hope you enjoy it." 

The female lead is played by actress Naka Riisa (24), who appeared at a public event for the first time since she gave birth to her first child with actor Nakao Akiyoshi (25) last October. Actors Tsutsumi Shinichi (49) and Yamada Takayuki (30) were also present at the event.

TOMA IN A CHRISTMAS-themed MOVIE WITH AIBA!!!!!!!!!!

sorry for the delay!! this news was from around december 24. lol. by now, they have actually started filming this movie. just recently, i think. 

i've just been too depressed or sick or lazy to update here until now. ALSO I MADE A NEW BANNER!! YEY!! it's a birthday (cuz my bday is in early feb) + valentine's day theme. hehe. ^_^

I'M EXCITED ABOUT THIS MOVIE. =) 
it's awesome that toma can work with aiba on his first movie. i like this korean actress, too. eikura is ok... well, she and toma were paired up in that Lotte CM a long while back. i guess they kinda match. i just don't like her that much. she kinda looks like a boy sometimes. lol. but i like it that toma gets to be an artistic guy. that's cool. like i said before, i guess i'm kinda art-sy, so i like artistic people. ^^

Arashi member Aiba Masaki will star in a movie "MIRACLE Debikuro-kun no Koi to Mahou" that is set for release sometime in fall 2014. This will mark Aiba's first leading role.

This is a live-action film adaptation of Nakamura Ko's novel "Debikuro-kun no Koi to Mahou", which uses Yamashita Tatsuro's masterpiece "Christmas Eve" as its motif.

The protagonist is a bookstore worker "Hikaru" (Aiba) who has a dream to be a Mangaka. Hikaru is a chicken but has a kind heart. At night, he passes out leaflets titled "Debikuro Tsushin."

Eikura Nana makes an appearance as Hikaru's childhood friend "Anna" who watches over Hikaru, and Korean actress Han Hyo-joo plays a world famous lighting designer named "So-yeon" who Hikaru accidentally encounters. Also, Ikuta Toma plays the role of a very popular Mangaka "Kitayama", who is a college classmate of Hikaru. The four will be involved in a love story.
The movie is directed by Inudo Isshin, who Aiba has previously worked with in the 2007 movie "Kiiroi Namida".

Aiba commented, "It is a love story with a fantasy element that is perfect for Christmas. Since my birthday is on Christmas Eve, I feel like being able to be a part of this movie is fate!"
"MIRACLE Debikuro-kun no Koi to Mahou" will be released in fall of 2014.

TOMA'S NEWS FROM OCTOBER, NOVEMBER, & DECEMBER!!! hahaha. finally!!!!!

i know it's been forever since i updated this blog. sorry. i just had a too many things i had to do and too little time for fangirling.

NOTICE THAT I FINALLY CHANGED THE LAYOUT!!!!!!!! though i love a black background, but i think it's finally time to change to a bright white layout after 6 years. lol. 

i've decided i won't do monthly posts anymore. i'll post whenever there's important toma news, so i'll post more frequently and you'll be more up to date with toma stuff as it's happening (though i still post big toma news in my cbox, but not sure if people notice. haha). yey!! xD doesn't mean i'll post a lot, but at least more than once a month (unless there's no new toma news for a long time). but that also means the posts will be more simple and short. maybe sometimes i'll just post links or something. xD

there were very few people who posted about toma's birthday back in october. even people celebrating his bday on twitter was less than previous years. =T

BUT THE BIGGEST NEWS FROM NOVEMBER IS TOMA WENT TO THE ROME FILM FESTIVAL BECAUSE HIS MOVIE, MOGURA NO UTA, WAS NOMINATED!!! i'm really proud of toma, being able to go to the Rome Film Festival. even though they didn't win any awards for mogura no uta, being nominated is already an honor. he got to go to his first international film festival in Italy (don't think he's ever been there?), meet his fans, sign autographs, and take pics with fans!!! *__* also, of course he looked so handsome and had such a classy suit on later (though he looked great in the i-don't-know-what-it's-called. lol. the traditional japanese clothes, that he wore on the red carpet). i'm glad he realized that he has fans outside of japan, too, though i think there have been certain times in the past where he already said that he's shocked that non-japanese people, who don't live in japan, know who he is? lol. it's kind of sad that toma doesn't know we exist. sighhhhhh..... -__-

oh, i'm kind of excited about toma's samurai role in a taiga drama. but the way they describe his character, i'm not sure if it's a big role or not. well, i'll still try to watch toma's part, but i've never watched a taiga drama before and i think it might be boring. haha.

--------------- ikuta toma joins okada junichi’s “gunshi kanbee” 
It was reported that Ikuta Toma will join the cast of NHK’s Taiga drama “Gunshi Kanbee” that stars V6‘s Okada Junichi. Ikuta plays the role of a Christian daimyou Takayama Ukon, who also happens to be a master of tea ceremony and a samurai, and will later lead Kanbee to path of Christianity.  Although Ikuta’s character won’t be present until the later part of the drama, Ikuta hopes that he’ll leave a vivid impression once his character comes-out.

Gunshi Kanbee’s producer said that Ikuta was chosen for the role because he will surely leave an impression of being cool, smart and a man of faith. Ikuta will reportedly start filming his scenes soon.
Also present in the drama’s film preview held at Shibuya in Tokyo is Shibata Kyouhei who will play Kanbee’s (Okada) father. Rounding-up the casts, are: Uchida Yuki, Kiritani Mirei, Takaoka Saki, Minamisawa Nao, Yoshimoto Miyu, Hayami Mokomichi, Fukikoshi Mitsuru, Shobutei Koasa, Ryu Raita, Shiomi Sansei, Tanaka Tetsushi, Tanaka Kei, Hamada Gaku, Takahashi Issei, Tsukamoto Takashi, Nagai Masaru, and Matsuzaka Tori.
