day 2~ NEWS' Happy Birthday

hi there!

as of now, there are 2 days, 14 hrs, and 16 minutes left until it's toma's 24th birthday!!
hurray!! 24 is my fav number, too! and yesterday was the 2-week mark since i sent my 3 letters to toma, so i'm 95% sure that they have arrived at those 3 locations in japan. =D but there's certainly less than 5% chance that toma has received them/read them. he's so busy rehearsing for Grease these days. seems like it will probably rain on his birthday. aw, toma is a sunshine boy, it can't rain on his birthday! hopefully the weather will change by then...

i will update the b-day poll results later or tomorrow. and then of course, again on toma's birthday. ummm, then again the day after toma's b-day, cuz the poll doesn't end till 8am of oct. 7 (cuz that's 12am of oct. 8 in japan).

so, today is day 2 and the song is "happy birthday" by NEWS. yes, that's the band that yamashita is in! =) found the song when looking for birthday songs online. it's actually a new song from just last month! i really like the lyrics, it's really cute/meaningful! and it makes me think that that's how toma/yamashita must feel on each other's b-days! but actually, the song is a little corny, right? haha~ i mean, the music & the way they sing it. if u watch the MV, you'll see that they're wishing someone happy birthday on October 1. toma's birthday is october 7. 1 and 7 look a lot alike!! did yamashita choose oct. 1 on purpose as a way to say an early happy b-day to toma?? ehhh? maybe!! =P check out the lyrics' eng. translation here:

ahhhh~ i hope he'll have a super special & fun 24th birthday. AND i hope he takes some time to look thru the b-day cards in his fanmail and he'll open my deep pink/blue/white envelopes!! *crossing fingers* i remember some toma fans saying he doesn't have to work on his b-day this year. i think the last couple years, he's always been working on that day, in the theatre (in a play). at least this year, he'll get a day off for his birthday! wonder who will go celebrating with him... *__*
