ok, i'll talk about some not so happy toma-related stuff first...gomen! i just wanna get it out of the way, and then on to HAPPY things!!

i'm getting a little worried that toma and ningen won't win any awards....*sigh* there was 1 lady from ningen that won best supporting actress...but there's been like 3 or 4 film awards already and toma and ningen don't get anything. -___-

i'm happy toma's room has 240something members now and it's pretty active. but then...the toma LJ...the ikuta toma @ Livejournal community. it's really quiet ne. i really hope the creation of toma's room is not making things worse for the toma LJ, cuz i'm afraid more ppl will come to toma's room and stop going to the toma LJ. i still go to the toma LJ, but it's been super quiet there (well, of course, there's not much toma news these days, but still....). and the tomalicious forum is still super quiet. BUT THEY DO HAVE A VERY NICE XMAS LAYOUT AND XMAS BANNERS THERE NOW!! =D

OH, AND I'M SORRY THAT CUZ I'VE BEEN SPENDING MORE TIME AT TOMA'S ROOM, i haven't been updating this blog much. but i found a site that review the anime genji monogatari sennenki, which was released just last year. wow.....it seems pretty good!! it's a really beautiful, colorful, surreal, sexy world. there's a lot of pretty moments, where they show the rain falling or the clouds drifting past the moon, etc...you can get an idea of what it's like when you watch this video here (also, some romantic moments when genji is with his lovers):

of course, the anime changes the story a lot so that genji doesn't seem like such a bad guy...whew! i guess toma's movie will be like that too. =) i guess i'll be ok with the movie if toma's genji is kinda like the genji in this anime.

i watched some of the love scenes in this anime....fufufu. it's really sexy...their robes drop...they kiss...sometimes the woman is moaning happily as genji pleasures her and you see them almost all naked!!! seems like all the women want him so bad and some seduce him! lol. but......aiyaaaaaaa. i really hope toma's love scenes in the movie will not be too sexy and hot. i'd get crazy jealous!! and also feel embarrassed for toma!! o___o

OH.... I JUST SAW AT GAKKY.ORG THAT TOMA AND GAKKY WERE NOMINATED FOR THEIR PERFORMANCE IN HANAMIZUKI!! but i have no idea what the award is, that's all they said. hehe. ureshii!! also, i got this news from there...hanamiz will be in theaters on 23 Dec in Thailand and 31 Dec in Taiwan.

oh, the hanamiz DVD will be released March 4, 2011. the special edition is the most expensive out of all of toma's movies. NO ENGLISH SUBS THOUGH. huhuhu. not that i can afford to buy it, but i'd be able to watch it faster if it already had subs and someone uploaded it. (SOMEONE, PLEASE SUB NINGEN IN ENGLISH!! and could someone please upload seaside?? and the hanamizuki soundtrack?? LOL.)

OH, THE GENJI MOVIE WON'T BE RELEASED UNTIL DECEMBER 2011!!! O__O i dunno why it's taking so long....maybe to add special effects or cuz more people watch movies in december...hmm. (thanks to careline 4 the news. btw, nino's Gantz movie will be released in the usa on jan. 20, 2011, in 300 theaters across the country!! omggg!! so awesome! but that makes me wish hanamizuki could have been released in many states in the usa. awww.....=T)

TOMA SAID HE COULDN'T SLEEP BEFORE FILMING THE LOVE SCENES (and there are many in this movie!) FOR GENJI MONOGATARI. awww....he was too nervous to sleep! and they say the sets for this movie are really expensive, one is 200 million yen! toma's costar in the double stage play is also in this movie, and he has acted as genji before!! "The story follows the amorous adventures of upper-class Japanese men in the Heian period as they pursue women, who are sequestered out of sight behind screens and blinds.
...The basic structure of the book is that it is a series of seduction/rape stories which go on for so long that the characters have regrets and have to confront death. Sometimes the girls -- rarely women -- are so stunned by Genji's and the other men's social status and beauty that they willingly submit; other times the enthusiasm is decidedly lacking, though the girl may grow to appreciate the man."
